Seventeen years
4 September 2010
“Don’t marry the one you think you can live with; marry the one you know you can’t live without.”– Dr. James Dobson
(paraphrased, because he should have said it this way. Where was his editor?)
I never expected to be married. But it turns out that my life is full of surprises, and this is one of the very, very best.

You just never know where life is going to take you : ).
Happy anni. Big hugs from both of us. Love you.
Jo, isn’t that the fucking truth? (grin).
Mark, lots of love to you both too! And thanks for being there 17 years ago and helping make the day so special.
Happy Anniversary from us both too – here’s to many more years to come!
A beautiful photo – got tears of happiness for you. Lots of love…
Sam, thank you! Hope you are both well and happy!
Thank you, Jude, and love to you.
Happy Day! and wishing you thousands and thousands and thousands of more happy days ahead.
I like the paraphrased quote, but a little surprised you’d mention him. Maybe he can learn something from your example. : )
Thanks for the good wishes!
I have no idea who Dobson is, and I don’t care. Don’t enlighten me today. I like the quote, and it fits.
Well, let’s just say I wish you could edit him more often.
I’m just very glad you found each other.
Ohhhh how I would love to paint the two of you. You look so happy. Have a wonderful anniversary, and here’s to many more.
Kelly, as soon as we can afford it, I am so there! And I am loving the work you’ve been posting!
Love this. Happy anniversary, you two
Thank you! So lovely to hear from you. Now, what are you doing out playing on the internet? Go write something wonderful
