Playing for (more) change

In December I posted the first Playing for Change video of musicians around the world playing/singing “Stand By Me.” Take a look if you haven’t seen it. It’s a wonderful video: so powerful to see the song come together from around the world, people applying their individual skills to a common idea.

Here’s another.

Whatever else we may be, we’re all human; and I love the ways we find to connect with each other.

    rhbee, awesome video, thanks for the link. Carl Perkins looks fabulous and he’s still got it going on… Must have been a great show!

    This is great. Isn’t it cool how music connects people of all types/races/etc? I did like the first one better tho.

    The Mavericks are great – Raul Malo has an amazing voice. Some of my favorite music. Dream River is one of my all time favorite songs.
