Let the music take you there
22 June 2010
From Flavorwire comes this cogent infographic.

Makes me think it’s time for some more jukebox around this joint. I’ll work on that. In the meantime, what else can we add to the list? I will ponder this as I drive to the gym.
Write-a-thon running total: 1,007 words.
Enjoy your day.

Well uh duh, I can’t think of anything or if I did how to add it. (kicking little rock with toe)
I know, I have been coming back to it at various moments all day and I can’t think of other examples either! Which I find pretty amusing since I am all about the lyrics.
Heaven/Raise a Little Hell
When all are one and one is all/wind on down the road
Sea of Love/Come with Me
Love Shack/down the Atlanta highway
Love Shack/15 miles
Desert Moon/Desert Train
Up the line/Number Nine Train (Tarheel Slim/Number Nine Train)
Home/Big 707 on Runway #9 (Gordon Lightfoot,/Early Morning Rain)
Danger Zone/Highway
Double Dutch Affair/Double Dutch Bus
. . . Is what I have so far. I am couch-bound today and obviously have way too much time on my hands. I too am all about the lyrics : )
Ok, this is a bit of a stretch, but I like it : ) :
The world / Moon River
And woo hoo on the 1,007 words!
J, you are the rock goddess of the day! And I am still coming up empty. It’s so sad. I can never remember jokes either. Sad, sad.
Okay I can’t let this go because of my vast store of music; I have to try again. If you’re old enough you should be able to get these.
Destination How to get there
you follow the sun wherever it leads
or
Little ship of dreams going down the city sidewalk
I didn’t take into consideration the program eating my format so…
the first one is:
Destination
you
How to get there
follow the sun wherever it leads
The second one:
Destination
Little ship of dreams
How to get there
going down the city sidewalk
@Kelley — admttedly, I had to google some of the lyrics : P. And wow, me, a rock goddess! I’ve never been that before except for the sandstone kind (read as: I had an uncanny ability to find manos and metates long after the other field workers were sick of recording the site and really just wanted to go home). I’ll have to grow my hair back out . . .
