Many thanks to Charlie Jane Anders for a lovely review of Dangerous Space at io9. I’m especially delighted that she liked “Dangerous Space” (the novella) so much. I love that story, really love it. Practically every big feeling I’ve, every piece of music that’s ever gone bone-deep into me, every ecstatic experience I’ve had is in there in some small way. Sure, I’m in all my stories, every one: but this one is special.
See for yourself. Read the story.
If you’re so inclined, please leave a comment on io9 with your response.
The review was elegant and perceptive. Your grasp of emotional connections is your best technology. Thanks again for Dangerous Spaces.
I really love that story too. And I really loved reading all the stories as a collection.
It’s great to see you get recognition for your brave and beautiful work. I’ll write a comment @ io9 and also a review for Amazon.com as soon as I get my focus back. I have three term portfolios due next week and they’re hijacking my mind this weekend.
Oh, and one of my indie music friends is now reading your novella. He said he’ll come visit with bells and comments.
Funny, I left a comment on that site and it took a while to show up. I didn’t even recognize it myself at first because they assinged me a random name. Now it’s there twice.
Jennifer, thanks for leaving the comment, I appreciate it. I tell you what, that review sold a few books. I heart the interweb, for sure.
Cool. How ’bout that interweb.
