Friday pint

Every Friday I transfer posts here from the Virtual Pint archives.

I know, I know, it’s Sunday. I got so fired up on Friday that I was compelled to rant rather than pint.

So here you go. Back on Friday as usual with the next round.

  • Web (February 2004) — Short post about the web in Solitaire. I should have answered this one better — there’s a bit more about it here, but even that’s not really an answer. I’ll have to think more about this.
  • Inspiration (February 2004) — Where does this stuff come from?
  • Ambiguity (February 2004) — It’s the one-word-title week… this one’s about, well, ambiguity in Solitaire (grin).

Happy Friday-on-a-Sunday. Hah, that would mean that tomorrow was the weekend again, wouldn’t that be great?

  1. Yep, that would be great. I woke up thinking that very thing this morning.

I’ve been thinking about this tribe stuff lately, so I’m interested to hear what more you will say about it. I think I agree with Ide Cyan – I like the name ‘web’ better…

  2. I prefer “web” to “tribe,’ but really I just think of the whole concept as “my people.” Always in life, I want to find my people.

  3. Your writing is the Ariadne’s thread into and out of your own personal labyrinth. Some people say it’s a gold thread, but I think it’s red, because that’s my favorite color. The story is all about love, fear and work. The myth makes the labyrinth external and physical .You make it the imagination. Anyway, I am very grateful for the trip.

  4. That’s lovely, Barbara, thank you very much. I enjoy the trip too — that’s the most selfish part of being a writer, having license to just wander around in all those stories.
