With my apologies and profound respects to all my human photographer friends, especially the awesome Jennifer, I give you Cooper, Seattle’s very own cat photographer.
Cooper’s people, filmmakers themselves, got curious about his life outside the house. So they attached a tiny digital camera to his collar that automatically takes a photo every two minutes. And now Cooper is a genuine local hero with his own gallery show and blog.
Cats are wonderful. If you have one, say hello from me.

That is so darling!!! I LOVE cats, I feel they speak a language of love so few can understand. I look forward to seeing what else the pretty kitty has to offer. 🙂
And I will tell my cat Link you say hello. 😀
Oh, wow. That is SO cool – especially the picture of another cat from Cooper’s eye-level…all the pictures really do tell a story.
Gotta love it. What a great idea.
You said in an earlier post that you miss your cat – now is a great time to adopt one. I work at a clinic/small no-kill shelter and we have been bombarded with animals displaced because their humans have lost their homes or can’t afford to take care of them because of the hard economic times. It’s gotten so bad that when we leave work at night we often open our car door to find that cats in crates have been left inside from owners who were afraid we’d say no or that we’d already said no to because we are over capacity. We’re keeping the cats anyway. I know we’re not the only shelter that is doing this. The official city shelter is not no-kill and is euthanizing every surrender animal they get in at this point. So if you’re longing for a furry companion, there are tons out there right now who are in desperate need of homes.
Thanks for posting about Cooper’s blog, I’m enjoying the photos 🙂
