I am trying to think and you send me off trying to remember the author of series of mysteries about a cat that solves crimes in Nevada. Couldn't remember her name, the author, just carol douglas ??? which took me to a lesbian writer of some repute which led me to the tea party in Boston where the LGB&T are dumping tax docs and then finally back to my own mind where I suddenly remembered her middle name was Douglas as in <a href="http://www.carolenelsondouglas.com/" rel="nofollow"> Carolyn Douglas Nelson </a>.
