Thank you! I'm jazzed to hear that you responded that way to the reading and the interview. I very much hope that you and your friends enjoy the stories. Let me know what you think.

Back in the day before all this intarweb stuff, I used to send out my stories, get an author's copy of the magazine or book they appeared in... and wonder, was anyone reading them? Did people like the stories, were they touched, were they moved? And mostly, I never knew whether my work was reaching anyone in any way.

That's all changed. And it still gives me a rush like nothing else to get up and find something like this on the blog. Thanks very much indeed.

I heard you on TTBOOK at 3am and your reading about Mars woke me up. Not only did your 1 minute book excerpt made my hair stand, but your discussion on TTBOOK is also so smooth, articulate and POWERFUL, just like your story. I said to myself, who is this woman? The few minutes on radio left me such a deep impression. I immediately ordered 3 copies of Dangerous Space (2 for my friends) from Amazon and looked up your blog. I look forward to reading your entire book. Thank you Kelley!
